Superior Chiropractic Care
Amorose Family Chiropractic is one of only a few offices in the Pittsburgh area to specialize in the Activator Methods Technique. A spring-loaded, hand-held instrument called an Activator is used by the chiropractors to deliver gentle adjustments. Certain motions performed by the practice member help to identify the bones, joints, or muscles that needs to be adjusted. There's no guessing when it comes to your health in our office.
Activator Methods has been studied for over 50 years, and has more researched clinical trials than any other instrument-based technique. This specific technique is extremely popular because there is no twisting, thrusting, or popping to make the adjustment. It causes less stress for the body to process, allowing patients to get better faster. The doctors love this technique, because they’re able to assess any joint in the body, including cranial bones, TMJ, extremities, sinuses, etc.
Focused on Whole Family Wellness
ICPA is the profession's oldest, largest, and most sought out chiropractic pediatric association in the world. With 6,000 members supporting a collective mission, and their commitment to caring for more families in their communities, we are truly advancing and establishing the course of chiropractic and the lives of children.
Dr. Kelly Amorose is one of less than a dozen chiropractors in the Southwestern PA region who has completed extensive educational training including 200 hours of coursework, a rigorous comprehensive exam, and multi research studies to be Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP). Amorose Family Chiropractic recommends to receive care by a chiropractor with some training from the ICPA.
Dr. Kelly Amorose is also Webster Certified, which is a specific analysis and technique to assess and achieve optimal pelvic alignment to help support a healthy pregnancy and birth outcome. It is highly recommended to seek a Webster Certified chiropractor for your prenatal care!
Meet your Doctors
Dr. Lucas Amorose, BA, DC
Dr. Lucas is a native Pittsburgher, having grown up in Greentree. He first experienced chiropractic care after sustaining an injury during a high school football game. He felt instant relief, but didn’t consider it preventative health care until he met Dr. Kelly’s chiropractor in Uniontown, who explained that the adjustment allowed his brain and body to communicate properly! This resonated with Dr. Lucas and his efforts of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and decided to pursue a life mission of helping others live life to the fullest.
Dr. Lucas earned his BA in Biology from Slippery Rock University. Initially at Life University, Dr. Lucas was set on solely practicing sports chiropractic and working with athletes. Dr. Kelly convinced him to hear a pediatric chiropractor speak. He then realized that when a child is adjusted, there’s no telling how far reaching that adjustment will go. From that moment, Dr. Lucas focused on providing chiropractic care for the whole family. He is Advanced Proficiency certified in Activator Methods technique.

She admired a profession that could help individuals live more active, healthier lives naturally!
